The Best Reasons Why Wear A Watch

Everyone says that it is 2020 now, there are sources of time-telling everywhere: mobile phones, tablets, computers, TVs, car dash boards, and just about everywhere we look. why it is still necessary to wear a watch?

A watch is more than just a time-telling device, but also an article of luxury. Today we will talk about the reasons why people should wear a watch and the comments from others.

Express your own style and taste

It’s no secret that watches are often used to express personal style and taste.

You might have noted that some people only use vintage watches, others only dive watches, and so on. That’s because it expresses their style.

within a particular type of watch, there are also many options. For instance, you can wear your dress watch with a metal band or leather band with different colors: black, tan or blue, etc.

In other words, with a watch, you can express yourself without saying a single word. That’s quite powerful.

Watches are more convenient to tell time

How many times have you heard people argue that they don’t need a watch because they have a phone? They usually said I don’t need a watch because I have a phone, which is a common response from a generation who are now questioning the adverse effects of constant cellphone use. Fishing for a cell phone on regular occasions just to check the time looks desperate.

A quick glance towards your wrist is a much classier way to keep tabs on time during a date or a meeting. Not to mention how rude it would seem to your companions if you pulled out your phone during a conversation.

Another way that wearing a watch is convenient is when you don’t have any pockets or for some other reason can’t carry your phone with you. Your watch, on the other hand, is always securely fastened to your wrist, no matter what.

Watches prevent distraction

Have you ever taken up your phone just to check the time, and then found yourself sitting on the phone for many minutes because you fell back on your phone as a distraction?

When you wear a watch – it’s less likely you will fall back on your phone as a distraction. Often, checking the phone for time results in a rabbit-trail of activities including checking every messenger app, email and Facebook.

When you need to keep track of something as important as time – a unique device to measure and manage it is justified. However each time you take your phone, it’s a distraction and a risk of getting stuck, but by wearing a watch, you eliminate that problem.

Watches Make Great Heirlooms

Your watch, like many heirloom pieces, can have powerful memories attached to it. Maybe it’s a reminder of the first big sale you closed. Perhaps it reminds you of your great-grandfather, the watch’s original owner, and you remember his strength when you wear it.

No matter what your philosophy is on the end of life, we can all agree that people can live on through the memories of those that knew them.

A watch collection is also a legacy. It doesn’t necessarily have to be worth a mini treasure – but leaving your watches to someone you care about is in essence passing on values that were important to you, to someone else.

What people say of the reason to wear a watch

“True, watches are not there for timekeeping anymore. It’s more of a status symbol for men just like bags are for women. But I know a couple men who loves bags and women with watches. Me? I consider my watch as my non-breathing best friend. My watch choice can reflect my personality. It’s the only thing that is on my body almost 24/7.”

“I use mine to tell the time and sometimes even the date or wake me up or what direction I’m going or how long since I started doing something. And since the G-shock doesn’t always look appropriate with my situation, I have a few others. If you want to challenge convention, ask why people wear ties.”

“Just for the fun of having it … And the joy you get by seeing and wearing it”

“There are days you simply wear it and there are days you can plan other accessories around it. I particularly enjoy pairing my shoes and pens with the watches.”

“Because watches are interesting to me. However in the end, you only really need one or two keepers.”

“Coupled with the fact that (in some cases) not only are they mechanical wonders, but works of art, too.”

“Convenience and Beauty.”

“I really dig the mechanical wonder. Gears, weights, jewels, levers, springs all packaged in a relatively small metal package you can wear around with you. It’s hard to strap a 6.2L V8 to your wrist.”

“Watches are the one piece of jewelry – besides your wedding band – that a man is socially permitted to wear in all occasions, all professions, regardless of age. Granted, we have come a long way since the days where a working man’s uniform was a grey suit, tie, and hat – a time where watches really were the *only* significant expression of status and style men were permitted – but the role of the wristwatch in a man’s wardrobe has not changed.”

“WHY? Is a question I’ve asked myself many times. I just enjoy buying and owning watches.”

“Because my iphone is always on the charger so my watch is the only thing always nearby to tell me the time haha. Seriously though, they need to increase the battery size.”

“I enjoy having a piece of art on my wrist that is also a functional timepiece and it makes me happy also sometimes its nice having a device that does not need gas or a battery only the movement of my arm.”

“I got into watches after my dad passed away, I found one of his Bulovas, nothing fancy or anything but I wear it to remind me of him, and then I started to think that when I start to have children, I would love to pass something like a watch down to them so I started collecting…more…and more…and more…damn my kids are gonna be lucky!”

We believe there are thousands of reasons why we wear a watch, there must be some unassailable reason why watches are still existing in our life even it has been more than 500 years when the first watch invented.

Not only are we a watch manufacture, but also a more watch enthusiastic. Ops loves to assist customer to create their own watch brand and witness the watches come to the world after the hard work together with customers.
